A Programme Manager is required by our Global client to act as a brand ambassador and the focal point of client engagements. This role is pivotal in strengthening client relationships through effective programme leadership, operating with integrity, and embedding best practices to optimise schedule, financial, and risk performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of the programme, delivering in full the contracted scope, client acceptance achieved within contracted milestones, securing payment from clients on the milestones specified, and within agreed budget.
  • Maintain contractual compliance by planning, mobilising, and executing the programme in accordance with contracted terms and conditions.
  • Engage effectively with clients to optimise satisfaction and maintain robust team engagement.
  • Implement and operate programme standards and controls, including planning, risk management, and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance both at the client level and within the organisation.
  • Drive a learning culture within the programme to evaluate approaches and implement enhancements for the benefit of both our client and their clients.
  • Support bids and proposals when necessary and lead major service incidents or manage significant customer issues as part of the operational team.
  • Team engagement – ensuring that the team is engaged, clear regarding deliverables and milestones, galvanised as ‘one team', peer relationships with the client established, joint (with client) clarity of purpose week by week.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence with clear communication and effective leadership skills.
  • Proven programme leadership experience within a commercial context, particularly in technology transformation with budgeted cost accountability of over £10M.
  • Experience in programme leadership within a product management/SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Proven Experience of working on large scale Digital Transformation programmes

Qualifications and Accreditations:

  • Current, recognised Programme Management accreditation (Axelos Managing Successful Programmes preferred).
  • Proficiency in line managing, coaching, and developing colleagues.
  • Practical understanding of ITIL standards and practices with current ITIL accreditation is advantageous.
