My client in Blackburn & Darwen is looking to appoint an Occupational Therapist to join their team for a 3 month initial contract.
You will be part of a team providing occupational therapy services to children with a range of developmental and physical challenges
- Rate: £41p/h
- Location: Blackburn & Darwen (Hybrid working considered)
- Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 -17:00
About the role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each child's needs for equipment and adaptations in the home and school environment.
- Conduct moving and handling risk assessments and develop handling plans.
- Provide assessment and recommendations for Disabled Facilities Grants.
- Complete specialist seating assessments.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
About you:
- Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
- Ideally some paediatric experience
