Fast growing commercial service business based in the Bury area requires a Sales Support Team Leader. Reporting to the Commercial Manager this is a newly created role due to the growth of the business.
This role manages a team that is an essential cog in the sales process providing timely and accurate data for the sales and delivery process. The team ensures quotations are issued in a timely fashion and is a key role working with new clients. The team also ensures that all contracts deliver optimal value to the business by identifying under performing and non-compliant sites and taking appropriate action.
Duties of the role will include:
- Facilitate a speedy and accurate production of prices by account managers
- Support account managers in achieving a 24 hour turnaround on prices
- Providing presales checks including but not limited to credit and consumption validation
- Updating critical data for the sales team/account managers
- Build effective relationships with account managers
- Seek to identify and implement system or process improvements to create efficiency and/or meet regulatory changes
- Production and implementation of KPIs and reports in line with management requirements
The right candidate for the role will have;

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and build relationships
- Excellent IT skills, with proven working knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work
