Junior Mechanical Building Services Engineer
to join our dynamic team in High Wycombe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, heating, ventilation, etc.) in a variety of building projects.
- Support senior engineers in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor and inspect mechanical installations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Use design software (AutoCAD, Revit) to assist in project planning and layout.
- Perform load calculations, and help with the selection of equipment such as boilers, chillers, and pumps.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of building regulations and industry standards (e.g., CIBSE, ASHRAE).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the building services industry.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
