A Steel Operative / FLT Driver is required to join a large steel firm located in Walsall on a temp to perm basis, working afternoon shifts.
As an FLT driver, you will be responsible for driving counterbalance forklift trucks, moving stock around the facility, picking steel in the warehouse and loading / unloading vehicles. You will be working with various forms of steel; long product, bar, coils and sections.
Your regular duties would include, but would not be limited to;
- Driving a counterbalance forklift truck
- Picking steel in the warehouse
- Making and preparing loads for transport
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Any other duties as and when required
To be considered for this role you must be an experienced steel operative and FLT Driver.
- Pay for this position; £12.53 per hour
- Working afternoons; 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday to Friday)
