Power BI Insights Analyst

Role: Power BI Insights Analyst Rate: £550 p/d Inside IR35 Location: Central London HQ - 1 day p/w on site Duration: 12 months

Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with a background in partner or customer journey analysis.
  • Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Proficient in BI tools (Domo, Tableau, Power BI) and experience with data warehousing/ETL processes.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical abilities, with a focus on translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in senior stakeholder management and driving large-scale, cross-functional projects on time and within scope.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present it effectively to senior leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for using data to drive customer and partner experience improvements.
  • Ability to operate at both the granular level and with a "big-picture" mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and influence skills, capable of driving decisions at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a thought leader, building and scaling reporting frameworks to meet business needs.
  • Lead and manage stakeholder relationships across multiple levels, fostering collaboration and aligning priorities around reporting objectives.
  • Define reporting objectives and business requirements with stakeholders, establishing necessary process changes to meet those needs.
  • Anticipate business insight needs and manage expectations, shaping a shared vision for reporting priorities.
  • Own the delivery of reporting requests, ensuring timely and accurate insights that inform decision-making at all levels.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, building data acquisition and ingestion processes that address those requirements.
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines to transform and manage data for analytics use cases and PS Partners and Global Partner Services reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and integrate machine learning models into operational workflows.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate business performance insights through advanced analytics, driving data-driven decisions for leadership.
  • Analyse key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators, delivering actionable insights to leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Execute a transformational reporting strategy that transitions PS Partners operations to self-serve reporting capabilities.
  • Identify and implement innovative data solutions to solve critical business challenges, empowering stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Scale BI team capacity and expertise, ensuring the team can handle increasing demands as the business grows.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data to optimize business performance and partner success.
