About the role - Trade Counter Sales Representative
You will be supporting our client's door hardware brands, selling spares to either architectural Ironmongers OR end users (such as maintenance companies, facilities businesses), and occasionally supporting the trade counters office for holiday cover.
Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between the customer and the trade counters depot
- Visit existing and potential customers to discuss projects, identify opportunities, and promote new products
- Stay up to date with product trends, technical specifications, and changes in legislation
- Communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
- Develop and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with customers
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets
- Keep the office informed about industry updates and market developments
What we need from you
- Previous experience in a business-to-business sales role promoting technical products (construction or facilities industry experience preferred)
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term, consultative sales relationships
- Strong self-management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK, manual driver's licence with no more than three penalty points
