Location - London (Hybrid 2/3 days remote)

Salary - £80,000 - £100,000 (+ 28% bonus + Package)

We're partnering with a high growth, global consumer business, aiming to further establish and grow their newer European business unit. Their strategy is primarily centred around Ecommerce, and so they are looking for a talented individual with experience in Ecommerce and marketplaces to lead their growth trajectory in the UK. This person will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts, devising growth strategies, P&L management, business development and liaising with various teams. Responsibilities will also sit across b2b and d2c channels in a varied and exciting role.

This role sits directly under the head of the European business unit, and as the team grows this position has the potential to grow into a Country Manager role. Development of individuals is key to this business and as such this internal progression would be ideal for them in the future!

Purpose of Role:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain partnerships with customers and cross-functional teams. Act as a trusted advisor to existing accounts, understanding their objectives and challenges.
  • Online Sales Management: Oversee day-to-day e-commerce activities, including inventory management, pricing, promotions, and digital marketing.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to increase market share and exceed sales targets. Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Solution Development: Involve in all aspects of the account, from replenishment and supply chain management to pricing and digital marketing.
  • Category Expertise: Stay updated on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities. Identify new opportunities and potential threats.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements with customers. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and provide feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and stay competitive.

Skills Required:

  • Proven track record of managing a multimillion-pound business with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and translate results into strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in consumer businesses, with a background in consumer electronics or the furniture space highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding and exposure to various marketplaces such as Wayfair, Argos, Dunelm & Amazon.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Sales, Ecommerce, Key Account Management or Online Marketplaces.
