Kenton Black are delighted to be working with a reputable independent Yorkshire based accountancy practice on the outskirts of Leeds, LS15 area and they are currently recruiting at a senior level within their tax team.
They are currently in need of a Senior Corporate Tax Manager and will offer a competitive salary to get the right person in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
As Senior Corporate Tax Manager you will be responsible for a mixed variety of duties including:
- Provide tax planning and compliance advice to clients on employment tax matters and other corporate tax issues to a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant legislation and regulations
- Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact for tax-related queries
- Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions
- Review and oversee the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation
- Assist with tax audits and investigations, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Support the development of junior staff through training and coaching
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liabilities
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm to provide a holistic service to clients
- Participate in business development activities, identifying and pursuing opportunities
to grow the firm's client base
Person Specification
To be considered for the role of Senior Corporate Tax Manager you will meet the following criteria
- ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience of working in a similar role within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and commercially minded
- Excellent attention to detail
