Senior Project Manager

**Job Purpose:

You'll be the linchpin in our mission to innovate and grow, supporting the product manager by coordinating all process steps and tasks required to achieve initiative objectives from idea conception to implementation.

**Main Responsibilities:

  • Work cohesively with product managers to drive delivery of innovative products and experiences
  • Define scope, OKRs and key outcomes at initiative and stage level
  • Define relevant KPIs using these to measure performance, reporting back to key stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Develop plans and maintain associated governance, quality and communications documents, in alignment with portfolio and innovation management processes
  • In partnership with the product manager and product owner, assist the team with making appropriate delivery commitments by removing blockers
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Estimate and manage internal and external resources.
  • Management of logistics (Hardware, Software and Cloud)
  • Plan and schedule timelines and milestones, identifying dependencies and critical path
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and proposals
  • Proactively manage requests for changes in scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plan
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
  • Mentor team members to adopt an agile mind-set, including ownership, self-management and empowerment
  • Guide the team members to achieve optimum productivity through continuous process improvement
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies

**Essential knowledge, skills, experience, qualifications & competencies:

  • Confident, proactive, and energetic approach
  • High ownership and ability to deliver at pace
  • Creative critical thinker with a curious mindset and initiative to find solutions
  • Experience in a project management, technical, analytical role in the electricity industry
  • Proven ability to work creatively an ambiguous problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Exceptional communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to collaborate across multiple business teams and external partners
  • Experience working in a customer focused role
  • Experience of working in both waterfall and Agile project management environment essential, with proven ability to develop and maintain the project plan and budget
  • Experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager or Agile Project Manager advantageous
  • Delivery focused with experience leading high impact business initiatives
  • Experience leading, motivating and managing various project team sizes, including internal and external resources
  • Solid understanding of portfolio and project risk management strategies
  • Experience transitioning solutions into business as usual or scaling
  • General understanding of energy systems/markets is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills and a track record of producing accurate work with a high level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of facilitating workshops
  • Able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
