We currently have a new opportunity for a planned works surveyor to join a regional housing association predominantly covering Hampshire & Wiltshire working on planned works roofing projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- In this role you will need strong contractor management experience, overseeing works for roofing renewals to residential properties including blocks of flats
- You will be responsible for driving the planned programmes, managing these from start to finish
- Carry out surveys as part of roof replacement projects, assessing materials and works required to various roofing structures such as flat roofs and pitch roofs
- Producing regular supplier performance reports to implement early improvements.
- We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of project management techniques, especially within multi-trade contracts.
- Proven ability to conduct surveys and provide insights on construction defects and repairs.
- Manage any issues that may obstruct projects, taking into account any obstacles such as conservation, party wall and planning permissions
- Ensure works are carried out to health and safety regulations
- Act as a point of contact to liaise with customers, ensuring a high quality of customer service is being delivered and any concerns or issues are highlighted and actioned with the team
Job Requirements
- A full UK Driving Licence
- HNC/HND qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience of strong contractor management and working on roofing projects
- Knowledge of H&S and risk assessments
