IT Recruitment Consultant

We are seeking an IT Recruitment Consultant to join our team, with the purpose of attracting candidates and matching them to permanent positions across various specialisms. This role is critical in achieving performance targets and developing new business opportunities. As an IT Recruitment Consultant, you will work closely with client companies, building relationships to understand their recruitment needs and requirements, and provide world-class service that exceeds expectations.
Day-to-day of the role:
Business Development
- Develop business opportunities through targeted cold calling, attending sales meetings and presentations, organising visits, and networking events.
- Win new business with innovative and creative approaches that distinguish us from competitors.
- Grow business through market research, proactive marketing of candidates, and selling solutions to clients.
Building Relationships
- Foster and develop close working relationships with new and existing clients to identify their current and future recruitment needs.
- Understand the procedures and requirements of the client's recruitment processes.
- Deliver a service that exceeds the client's expectations.
Matching Vacancies
- Match the requirements of available roles to candidates' skills, expertise, and experience.
- Promote client vacancies through various media channels.
Candidate Management
- Manage candidates' expectations around clients' processes and procedures, gaining their commitment.
- Ensure all relevant checks are completed and recorded for candidates.
- Match suitable positions for candidates as quickly as possible.
Sourcing Candidates
- Conduct marketing activity and utilise social media to attract new candidates to register.
- Proactively source candidates using database searches, networking, and other methods.
Key Relationships
- Build and maintain productive and cooperative relationships with clients, candidates, and co-members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment or a similar role.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using online job boards, social media, and other candidate sourcing tools.
- A proactive and innovative approach to sales and marketing.
