This business is going from strength to strength and as such has created a new role within finance to support the growth. They have a well established finance function and have heavily invested in new finance and operations systems recently too.
The Role
This is a hands on Billing Clerk role which will be reporting directly into a supportive Financial Controller and will be involved in the following:
- Process sales invoices effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining open conversations internally with the business.
- Oversee and manage both automated and manual sales invoicing.
- Respond to a high volume of daily emails and client inquiries and discrepancies.
- Flag query emails and follow up for resolution.
- Resolve billing discrepancies.
- Produce credit notes and rebates as required.
- Review daily priorities to ensure that scheduled responsibilities are addressed.
- Manage the daily upload of invoices from the sales/ commercial teams.
- Support credit control/collections process, liaising with customers on payment terms and billing issues
- Support the adoption and enhancement of new finance and billing systems/processes.
Your Profile
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic Billing or Accounts receivable professional to join a great team.
You'll need a good grasp of all aspects of billing and accounts receivable. There is also extensive interaction with the wider business and customers as well so being a people person is essential!
Due to the urgency of the requirement, this role will need someone immediately available or on no more than 2 weeks notice.

£34,000 - £36,000 plus benefits. 2/3 days per week in office. 25 days Annual Leave
