We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Assistant Management Accountant to join our growing finance team in Winchester. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.
This role is office-based, 5 days a week in the Winchester offices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts for both business ventures and the group company.
- Assist with re-forecasts.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with the year-end statutory audit process.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process.
- VAT & CIS returns.
- Month-end journal postings.
- Processing a small number of sales and purchase invoices.
- Setting up and approving payments across numerous banking platforms.
Requirements:
- AAT Qualified with a passion to progress on to ACCA/CIMA
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
