Junior Supply Chain Planner

Our client, who are globally recognised and well established in their industry, are seeking a Junior Supply Chain Planner to join on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility to go perm at the end. You will need to have knowledge or experience in supply chain or logistics.

Position: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract with the potential to become permanent

Supervisor: Sales & Supply Chain Assistant Manager

Fully office based (after 6 months probation you will be entitled to hybrid 2 days at home)

Hours: 35 hour working week over Monday to Friday

Location: Stockley Park with parking on-site

Performance bonus - discretionary bonus which is based on Company and Personal performance.

Junior Supply Chain Planner

To manage the orders of our customers, liaising with the warehouse, suppliers and other members of the team to ensure their queries are looked after in a timely manner and the goods are shipped in line with customers' expectations. On top of the SOP duties there will be a need to support with demand planning, reporting, system development, auditing process, customs, and logistic and supply chain projects.

General Duties

Daily processing of sales orders in our system

Tracing and release of Back Orders in our system

Preparing and supplying the necessary documentation (P/L, Proforma invoices, order confirmations) to our customers

Liaising with customers by phone and/or email answering enquiries in regard to sales orders, stock availability and Orders ETAs

Liaising with the Warehouse staff to resolve delivery and stock issues.

Cooperate with vendors and manufacturing plants to establish shipping priorities and resolve delivery issues from customers.

Work together with other team members to reallocate/share stock among customers to maximise the use of the stock.

Release Stock and Control aged back orders daily to support inventory management.

Filing of necessary shipping documentation (POs, Bill of lading, Waybills, invoices, credit memos, etc)
