Business Development Executive

This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development/Sales Executive to take control of the sales function within our clients manufacturing business.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5pm and Friday 8.30am-4pm

Salary: £30,000 per annum - OTE up to £44,000.

Location: Sheffield, S35 - some travel to the Leeds office is required.

The role:

  • Calling new and existing clients, generating new business, upselling and cross selling.
  • Liaising with clients over the phone and by email.
  • Working with the marketing department to promote new products.
  • Researching and targeting prospective new clients in order to increase business revenue.
  • Qualifying leads.
  • Providing strong knowledge of products to client.
  • Booking and managing appointments.

The Candidate:

  • Experience in a sales-based role.
  • Great customer service skills with the ability to create strong working relationship.
  • Experience working in a targeted environment.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • You must be able to drive for this role as travel to Sheffield will be required for training.
