Sales Manager

Our client, a highly successful independent Sales and Lettings Agent with an excellent reputation and exciting plans for growth is recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their residential team based in Cambridge. As an independently owned business this allows for a relaxed yet efficient working environment with a close team atmosphere. This is an exciting role in which the successful candidate will be focussed on contributing significantly and benefiting from the businesses growing market share.

The salary package for this role will be Circa £35,000 plus a lucrative and uncapped commission scheme

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience within Property in a Sales Manager/Comparable role
  • ARLA qualifications would be an advantage
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience using residential software packages
  • A strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Responsibilities to Include

Actively pursue and secure new business

Analysis of market and customer needs and selling to those needs

Analyse marketing, set and implement plan together with Branch Manager to hit office valuation target. Carry out Valuations

Strive to create the largest active market share of any agent in the area Maximise revenues and grow the property register Develop exceptional working relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and recommendations Maximise branch profit and achieve all financial targets

Arranging viewings and conducting viewings in a professional manner.

Efficient and correct handling of problems arising during the tenancy, managing any repairs, compliance, overseeing check-ins and check-outs as necessary.

Conducting check-outs, liaising with all parties to negotiate a speedy and satisfactory deposit return.

Managing the relationship with the landlord and resolving any property issues including recommendations of property upgrades and any in between tenancy works.

Following up with solicitors regularly throughout the sales process so the sale doesn't go cold.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and you will be required to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month from 9am to 1pm. Saturday cover may also be required from time to time.
