We are seeking a Data Manager to ensure the comprehensive and cohesive administration, development, and analysis of data-related management information for our client who works within the Education sector. The Data Manager will play a pivotal role in developing systems to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning, working across IT, administrative, and curriculum areas.
Day to Day of the role:
- Manage records and data within the School's Management Information Systems (MIS), including process development and report creation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective data management.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and legitimacy of data through formulated techniques for quality data collection.
- Provide support and training to staff on the effective use of the School's MIS.
- Manage data in external systems, including import and export functions.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise, and timely information and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Assessment Coordinator and Deputy Head to manage the annual Assessment Schedule and associated activities.
- Monitor and analyse information and data systems, evaluating performance to enhance procedures.
- Advise on best practices for data management and process workflows.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GDPR and safeguard the integrity of data.
- Maintain oversight of Business As Usual (BAU) administration systems to assure quality and dependability.
- Create online forms, appointment bookings, and calendars on the school website for parents and staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data management and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data management systems and processes.
- Ability to create and implement effective data management policies and procedures.
- Experience in providing training and support to staff on MIS.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including GDPR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in IT and database systems.
