Legal Director - Private Wealth

Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Leeds, is seeking a motivated and skilled Legal Director to join their expanding Private Wealth team. If you have a minimum of 8 years' private wealth experience and are STEP qualified, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of private client work, including Wills, Succession Planning, IHT planning, Trusts, Administration of Estates, and LPAs.
Serve high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, as well as business owners, providing them with trusted legal advice.
Handle cross-border issues and complex deceased estates.
Oversee firm-wide projects and take charge of non-legal tasks such as strategic business development, team supervision, and learning and development.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years' experience as a solicitor or legal executive in a reputable regional or national firm.
Experience working with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Strong technical expertise in areas such as lifetime planning, estates, inheritance tax planning, and probate.
STEP qualification is preferred, but alternative qualifications/experience will be considered.
Experience supervising team members with complex caseloads.
Ability to generate work from existing professional connections is desirable.
