Job Title: Plumber (Legionella)
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £35k + Training & Benefits
Our Client is looking for an experienced Plumber to service their new contracts in Yorkshire. Candidates will need to hold the Level 2 Plumbing qualification as a minimum and will need to have an excellent working knowledge of the ACOP L8 guidelines. Our Client is a well-respected Water Hygiene/Legionella outfit who holds contracts across the UK and can offer exciting training prospects for successful candidates.
Locations of work cover: Leeds, Bramham, Wetherby, Boston Spa, Tadcaster, Aberford, Spofforth, Harrogate, Knaresborough, York, Boroughbridge, Easingwold, Ripon, Ripon, Guiseley, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Keighley, Garforth, Sherburn in Elmet, Selby, Thirsk, Northallerton, Bedale, Catterick, Malton, Pocklington, Market Weighton, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering, Helmsley.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Plumber within a well-established company
- Having undertaken some Water Hygiene/Legionella duties
- Level 2 Plumbing (or equivalent) is required as a minimum qualification
- G3 Vented & Unvented Ticket would be beneficial but not essential
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 guidelines
The Role:
- Undertaking a range of remedial/plumbing tasks, such as TMV Servicing and Deadleg Removals
- Completing some ad-hoc ACOP L8 duties as required, such as cleans on Cold Water Storage Tanks and routine Water Sampling
- Servicing a mixed portfolio of sites, including Local Authority
- Writing comprehensive reports and updating logbooks
- Flexibility to travel as per company requirements
