Role: ESG Business Analyst (sustainability)
Location: London, 2 days per week on site required
Duration: 6-month contract
Rate will be paid through umbrella company.
The ESG Data Governance / Data Quality Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for someone who has both a passion for climate change and a strong interest in data management.
The Data Governance Team is a relatively new function that sits within the EMEA Data Office, part of the Operations, Planning and Data Department, covering all EMEA entities (including Securities and Banking subsidiaries) and all datasets. This team is responsible for capturing and implementing the appropriate level of governance for all data across EMEA.
Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of Sustainability / ESG Data Domain, as well knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise data and data-related regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of the practices and experience in working with data as part of data Governance and Data Quality & Control Monitoring.
- Working knowledge and understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, profiling, analysis, and data management tools.
- Analytically minded with experience in problem solving and being able to communicate and deliver workable solutions.
- Ability to think in an enterprise-wide manner, rather than a siloed or business unit focused fashion.
- An understanding of Physical, Logical, and Business data Models.
- Experience of documenting key artefacts such as business requirements, policies and procedures.
- Exposure to data catalogue / data lineage / data governance tools such as Collibra.
