Are you an Engineer looking to progress your career to the next level in a multi-faceted role, where you will play an intrinsic part in the growth of a highly successful company whilst boosting your income with commission?

Are you skilled at talking to clients and creating relationships. Do you want to take a step away from the tools and concentrate on the development of sales and aftersales solutions to customers around the southwest.

On offer is a role that will see you interacting with clients, producing quotations and ultimately expedite service jobs on time, within budget. You will be helping to manage a team of engineers and monitoring the installation and commissioning work.

The Role:

  • Ensure timely service jobs within budget and invoice customers quickly
  • Inspect machines on-site, providing reports and quotes
  • Quickly respond to customer inquiries about Solutions and keep records updated
  • Follow up on quotes to secure orders
  • Secure approval from the Regional Field Manager for hiring temporary staff or outsourcing as needed
  • Monitor and authorize overtime for service and installation work
  • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively
  • Regularly communicate with the Field Operations Manager about regional business developments
  • Manage stock and project materials efficiently at the regional depot
  • Comply with the company's quality management system and health & safety procedures
  • Support the Sales and Projects Department with regional pricing and project planning as required
  • Be hands on when required

The Person:

  • Experienced in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
  • Able to create and nurture client relationships
