Responsibilities:
As a Land & Partnership Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring land for development projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research to identify potential land opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with landowners, developers, and stakeholders
- Negotiating land acquisition deals and securing necessary agreements and permits
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as architects and planners, to ensure the smooth progress of development projects
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to land acquisition and development
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Strong knowledge and experience in land acquisition within the housing industry
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of planning and development regulations
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience in partnership management
- Understanding of affordable housing initiatives and funding programmes
Technologies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing land opportunities
