My client, an established and growing manufacturing business is recruiting for a Managment Accountant tp join the finance team . The position of Management Accountant is newly created as they relocate the finance team to Gloiucestershire . Working closely alongside the Head of Finance as his number 2 , you will have the opportunity to really make this role your own .
The Management Accountant will have the following responsibilities :
- Produce monthly management accounts for review with Head of Finance, including P&L, variances and spend reporting
- Produce monthly cost centre / department reports
- Support the Head of Finance to provide variance analysis
- Assist with the budgeting & forecasting process
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Assist in responding to audit queries
- Support the review of financial controls and processes
- Preparation of cash flow forecast
- Support with costing reviews and price analysis
- Support with other ad hoc tasks
