Customer Account Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a hybrid working Customer Account Specialist based in Hemel Hempstead, offering the chance to join a growing team in a nationwide company who are leaders in their industry, a company that really take care of their staff and offer fantastic training and opportunities to progress and develop.

In this role you will play a vital part in handling escalations and resolving disputes. We are ideally looking for candidates who have come from a similar background, someone with experience when it comes to managing disputes.

This team have a fantastic culture throughout the many different teams and departments, you'll be working with a social team who support each other and strive for success and progression.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. As standard, the company roll out a hybrid structure (after training) of 2 days in the Hemel Hempstead offices and 3 days working from home a week. The salary for this role is paying just over £30,000.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Processing applications where resolution is unsuccessful.
  • Reviewing all applications submitted in accordance with the companies Operating procedures for Dispute Resolution.
  • Reviewing deposit dispute cases.
  • Maintain existing records and full notes within the dispute resolution process, as required.
  • Managing queries from internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Writing and issuing non-standard and low-value adjudication decisions.
  • Identifying where there are special circumstances that need to be addressed before a case can proceed.

What do we need from you?

  • Digesting large volumes of information in electronic format.
  • Analysing data, reaching conclusions, making recommendations; and presenting clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
  • A flexible attitude to work is essential.
  • Demonstrate a practical knowledge and experience of dispute resolution processes and administration systems.
