We are seeking an ICT Cover Tutor for the Offender Learning Sector in Wetherby. This role is an exceptional opportunity to contribute positively to the lives of others, helping them improve their personal and professional skills, which in turn benefits their families and the wider community.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused ICT education that meets contractual requirements and standards.
- Ensure all teaching practices are in line with current policies and procedures.
- Support learners and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes, fostering a constructive and positive learning environment.
- Work on a sessional basis, adapting to flexible teaching schedules as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Proven track record of effective teaching in ICT or a related subject specialism.
- Ability to gain, hold, and maintain a clean, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
