Job Title: Production Support Aide

Location : Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, HA6 2RN

Site relocating to Luton & Dunstable hospital late 2025

Location (2025): The L&D Hospital, Luton, LU4 0DZ

Pay: £13.80 per hour

Duration: 12 months + with a view to further extension

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift pattern: Between the hours of 4am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday

Are you detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and looking to contribute to a dynamic production team?

Our client, a leading organisation in the industrial and construction sector, is seeking a Production Aide to join their team at Mount Vernon Hospital in Middlesex.

As a Production Aide , you will play a vital role in supporting the production and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, providing essential support to the team. From handling and moving materials within our stores to assembly and disassembly work on the production line , your contributions will ensure a smooth and efficient production flow.

Requirements:

  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle , free onsite parking is available
  • Due to the physical demands of the role you will be able to lift up to 25kg

What you'll do:

  • Sort, handle, and move materials, components and parts within the production area.
  • Fill up hand stocks to keep the production line running smoothly.
  • Use basic hand tools to complete assembly and disassembly.
  • Assist machine operators in stocking or reloading the machines.
  • Provide other generic support activities as required within specific production operations.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or similar role.
  • Previous experience working as a part of a team
  • Ability to work underpressure in a fast passed environment
  • Keen eye for detail and experience working to fine margins
