Quality Project Manager | Salary range of £40,000 to £49,000 | Annual Bonus | Chichester

The Quality Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing quality improvement projects within the organisation. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and ensuring that products or services meet the established standards. The Quality Projects Manager will work closely with various departments to identify areas for improvement, plan and execute projects, and track progress to achieve desired outcomes.

Nature's Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and "food-to-go" for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe. But there's lots more to us than the products we make.

You will already have

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple quality improvement projects from initiation through completion
  • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion

Quality Assurance:

  • Design and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress, quality metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Training and Development:

  • Develop training programs on quality standards and procedures to staff
  • Mentor and coach team members on quality improvement techniques and best practices

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organisation

Qualifications

Experience needed

  • Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in quality management or project management, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, IT]
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and quality management tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) is a plus
