A college in Birmingham are seeking a dedicated T Level Health Lecturer to join their team in Longbridge, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical industry background, a teaching qualification and a Level 3 qualification in a health-related subject. This role is crucial in providing high-quality education to students pursuing their T Level in Health.

The college is looking for the candidate to start the role in September 2024.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Delivering engaging and informative lectures to T Level Health students with a focus on practical and theoretical aspects of healthcare.
  • Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
  • Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to support their academic and professional development.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the health sector to ensure relevance and accuracy in teaching content.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the T Level Health curriculum.
  • Providing academic support and guidance to students as they prepare for careers in the health industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in a health-related subject.
  • Substantial clinical industry experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of the current health sector and its practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
