We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager with a proven track record in the FMCG industry. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is adept at driving business performance and providing financial insights that contribute to strategic decisions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support in decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance against the budget and forecast, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Drive the understanding of financial metrics and profitability across the business, ensuring that all departments are aligned with the company's financial goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, maintaining high standards of financial governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a commercial finance role within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficient in financial modelling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
- A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
