Role:
Reporting to the Sr Manager of eCommerce and working within a dynamic team, this role involves improving site conversion rates, integrating new features, and managing various development requests. The role includes transforming visual designs into functional Shopify Theme code, staying updated with the latest trends in frontend development, and collaborating closely with the design and marketing teams.
We seek a passionate and highly experienced professional with at least 3 years of Shopify development experience, proficiency in Liquid Templating, Shopify API, and JSON, along with moderate experience in Github, Webpack, and Node.JS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and Integration:
- Improve site conversion rate by working with the Shopify theme API and Front-End Shopify cart API logic for a custom user experience.
- Work on new features and projects, including integrating AI personalization software, developing an app, and launching an Amazon-prime style membership program.
- Liaise with third-party Shopify apps and APIs to enhance website functionality.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to transform visual designs into fully functional Shopify Theme code with semantically correct liquid syntax components.
- Manage various development requests, serving as the first level of service for all employees and leadership, and triaging for the Senior Manager of eCommerce.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development, Shopify platform updates, and e-commerce industry standards to continuously improve skills and techniques.
Requirements:
The Shopify Developer needs to be someone who has experience with DTCs and is a critical problem solver who is extremely passionate about development:
- Experience: 3+ years in Shopify development.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, React, Liquid Templating, Shopify API, and JSON.
- Tools: Proficient in Github, Webpack, and Node. JS.
- Abilities: Works well under pressure, takes initiative, and is proactive in seeking and implementing feedback.
- Innovative Mindset: Collaborative, proactive, and creative, challenging norms and thinking outside the box.
- Client Relations: Skilled in managing expectations and building strong relationships.
Salary: £40,000 - £90,000 (DOE)* per annum plus bonuses, and future share options.
