Lead Cook - Community Sports Club (near Woking)

About the Role
Our client, a leading community sports club, is seeking a dedicated Lead Cook to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the club's players/customers, ensuring high-quality meals for up to 200 people.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals (lunch and dinner) for 200 players
- Manage food labelling, allergen information, and food storage
- Assist with food ordering and maintaining stock levels
- Work closely with the Clubhouse Manager for efficient meal service
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Similar experience essential
- A valid Food Safety certification
- Strong knowledge of allergens, labelling, and food storage practices
- Confidence in food ordering and stock management
- Flexibility with working hours as per business needs
- Own transportation is highly recommended due to the club's location
Working Hours
- 30 hours per week, with potential flexibility to increase to 40 hours
o Typical shifts may vary (examples: 8am-2pm, 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm
- Mondays and Tuesdays off
