Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:

Assist the Headteacher in the overall management of the school, including strategic planning and implementation of school policies.

  • Curriculum Development:

Oversee the development and delivery of a tailored curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students.

  • Staff Development:

Mentor and support teaching staff, providing professional development opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Student Support:

Ensure the well-being and academic progress of all students, implementing effective support strategies and interventions.

  • Parental Engagement:

Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring open communication and collaboration.

  • Compliance and Safeguarding:

Ensure the school meets all regulatory requirements and maintains the highest standards of safeguarding.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS
  • Experience:

Proven experience in a leadership role within an SEN setting.

  • Skills:

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.

  • Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of SEN best practices and current educational policies.

  • Personal Attributes:
