Right Now Group are working with a Medium-sized Freight Forwarder based in the Birmingham Area, assisting them in their search for a Freight Sales Executive, focused on the sales of all modes of Freight (Air/Sea/Road/Warehouse Storage).
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Freight Sales, and have experience dealing with all modes of Transport.
Responsibilities of a Freight Sales Executive:
- Driving growth of the business through the sales of AMCO products, services & offerings to new customers
- Generating new leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline
- Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive both continued revenue, profit growth and increased engagement
- A proven ability to put the customer's requirements at the heart of what we do, striving to deliver high quality customer service at all times
- Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly
- Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations
- Negotiating and finalizing contracts with prospective customers
- Visiting customer/potential customers to promote the company services
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing campaigns
- Understanding and promoting the company strategy
Requirements of a Freight Sales Executive:
- Proven and successful track record of B2B sales and business development in the logistics/freight industry
- Demonstrable achievements in a similar role within the logistics market
- Experience working within a fast-paced sales environment
- Ability to maintain an entrepreneurial approach
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Salary: up to £45,000
Location: Birmingham Area (2 days per week)
Shift: 1/2 days in the office per week. Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
