Experienced Technical Architect with a background in Cloud Data Centre Migrations, required for an immediate start!

- £500 inside IR35 per day

Overview:
- Cloud datacentre application hosting migration.
- VMWare specialist with AVS, supporting migration planning, design and implementation.
- Day to day candidates will be focused on a range of tasks, including actual configuration and implementation, testing, documentation, knowledge transfer.
- There may also be a requirement to contribute to procurement requirement specification
Spec:
- Design and implement cloud migration strategies, including the assessment of current infrastructure and the development of migration plans
- Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and roadmaps for cloud solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and ensure best practices are followed
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of the cloud environment to ensure compliance with security and governance policies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the council's IT infrastructure
- Work with vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions as needed
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on cloud solutions and best practices
