We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our Distribution Centre in Letchworth Garden City. This is a full time, permanent position working double day shifts. (Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm on week one, and 1.40pm - 10pm on the second week).

So what will you actually be doing? Reporting in to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will carry out all warehouse related tasks to ensure either manufacturing demand for material or customer demand for finished stock are met fully and on time.
You will maintain Health and Safety standards within the Warehouse and promote a positive Health and Safety culture on site in line with Company's Zero Harm vision.
Part of the role also includes daily checks on Forklifts and pallet trucks and reporting any faults to the team leader.
You will load and unload vehicles in a safe manner ensuring all waste related to warehouse activity is correctly labelled and stored prior to removal from site, and disposed of.
It's really important to keep all areas well organised and cleaned as part of 6s while ensuring all paperwork relating to order despatch including Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN's) are completed accurately.

So who are we looking for? We are looking for positive individuals who have previous experience within a warehousing or logistics environment. An excellent communicator with a real eye for detail is key and ideally a Counterbalance/Reach/Flexi Truck certificates.
