Database Infrastructure Engineer- Central Scotland - Remote - 6months
Our Public sector client requires a Database Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. You will assist with on-prem database upgrades and provide support to existing databases.
To be considered you must have the following experience:

Experience with technology including:

Mongo DB
-
Postgres
-
AWS IAM, S3, EC2, RDS
-
Ansible
-
Typescript
-
CDK and AWS dev tools such as Cloud Formation
-
SQL
-
Monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Grafana
-
Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture.

Agile delivery models such as Scrum and Kanban.
-
Cloud database monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes.
-
Infrastructure-as-code.
-
Testing disaster recovery procedures.
-
Performing data replication and high-availability technology.
-
Experience with Informix, Oracle, Typescript, OpenSearch, Serverless (Lambda) would be desirable.
This role is mostly remote, but you will be required to attend occasional meetings in the company's Edinburgh office depending on the team requirements. Competitive day-rate (outside ir35).
