Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic business in Rotherham as they look for a confident and experienced Finance Administrator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Daily duties:
- Process all purchase invoices, carrying our proper checks and obtaining the correct authority where required
- Produce a weekly payment run taking care the only authorised invoices are paid to the correct bank details
- Complete all work within required timescales and job times
- Ensure all supplier statements are reconciled and any issues addressed
- Maintain and cleanse the purchase ledgers for all group companies
- Daily importing of invoices
- Process and reconcile the invoices
- Reconcile and process all company credit cards
- Handling of incoming phone calls
- Monitor and action the accounts email inbox
- Help in other areas of the Finance Department when needed
- Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety compliance
- Continuous improvement of company practices
Person Specification:
- Experience within a similar role
- Confident user of accounting software and Excel
