Finance Administrator

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic business in Rotherham as they look for a confident and experienced Finance Administrator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Daily duties:

  • Process all purchase invoices, carrying our proper checks and obtaining the correct authority where required
  • Produce a weekly payment run taking care the only authorised invoices are paid to the correct bank details
  • Complete all work within required timescales and job times
  • Ensure all supplier statements are reconciled and any issues addressed
  • Maintain and cleanse the purchase ledgers for all group companies
  • Daily importing of invoices
  • Process and reconcile the invoices
  • Reconcile and process all company credit cards
  • Handling of incoming phone calls
  • Monitor and action the accounts email inbox
  • Help in other areas of the Finance Department when needed
  • Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety compliance
  • Continuous improvement of company practices

Person Specification:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Confident user of accounting software and Excel
