Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Financial Reporting and Controls Manager to work for an association in Oxford.
Role: Financial Reporting and Controls Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Location: Oxford
Hours: Full Time - Including Evenings and Weekends
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting and Controls Manager:
- Invoicing all our corporate clients are invoiced.
- Maintaining the sales ledger ensuring all cash is collected promptly.
- Invoicing for player loans and any transfer receipts due whilst maintaining a log of upcoming invoicing etc.
- Ensuring all invoicing is input into our accounts system - currently Xero.
- Collating expenses for the payroll
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset register
- VAT returns
- Production, analysis, and presentation of monthly management report & account
- Annual report and accounts
- Ad hoc tasks as required.
- Reporting financial and non-financial information to various stakeholders including the Senior Management Team
- Maintaining and improving financial controls, enhancing system controls
- Processing transactions across all aspects of the finances
About you:
- Full working knowledge of MS Office programs with great excels skills.
- Ability to use Sage or similar accounts package.
- Able to work using own initiative.
- Able to communicate with colleagues, corporate customers and suppliers.
- The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
- A polite and professional manner
- Suitable accounting qualification desirable although QBE will be considered if a candidate has sufficient experience.
