As they gear up for substantial growth in 2025, they are seeking a Finance Assistant to take on the responsibility of the upkeep of their Financial Records, in particular the Purchase Ledger.
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for the input, upkeep, and monitoring of the company's critical financial record. Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £28,000, along with an attractive benefits package, including 22 days of holidays, Auto-enrolment Pension, and Health Insurance.

Main Responsibilities:
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders, ensuring authorisation in line with company policies.
- Input authorised purchase invoices onto SAGE.
- Control GRNI in preparation for month-end.
- Manage the Query Log and facilitate resolutions for timely invoice processing.
- Reconcile supplier balances in SAGE to supplier statements.
- Resolve finance-related queries efficiently.
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts, including foreign currency accounts
- Assist in preparing quarterly VAT returns and maintaining accurate Records.
- Ensure meticulous record-keeping for VAT audits, both internal and external.
- Aid in reconciling SAGE control accounts for sales ledger, Invoice Finance, and bank accounts.
- Contribute to end-of-year accounts preparation.
- Ensure adherence to Company accounting authorisation procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a transactional finance team
- Familiarity with Sage payroll systems would be highly advantageous
- A Hunger to learn new things
- An ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle changing priorities
