Sales Administrator

We are currently working on behalf of a client based in Ipswich who are looking to add a Sales Administrator to their growing team. The successful applicant will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and customer service experience along with exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming queries into the sales office primarily via telephone and email.
  • Producing quotations to meet the requirements of the sales team.
  • Processing orders via email or phone.
  • Contacting clients to obtain missing information or to respond to queries.
  • Liaising with the Logistics department and transport companies to ensure deliveries are made on time.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Developing monthly sales reports.
  • Communicating feedback from customers to internal teams.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new products, features and offers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent.
  • Hands on experience with MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A team player with high level of dedication.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
