Our wonderful client within the events sector is seeking someone with PR experience eager to develop into a new and exciting industry. The ideal candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate a passion for PR with a proven track record in administration and PR. The purpose of the role is to coordinate a range of important administrative tasks for the PR and Communications team, whilst providing first class administrative support to the team across the full range of its work.
Responsibilities will include:
Coordinating all aspects of PR including advertising
Updating media including photo's and ensuring a strong social media presence
Coordinating the presentation of press releases
Preparing all Purchase Orders for the PR and Communications team
Maintaining databases for posters and leaflets
Updating the PR Calendar
Responsible for the info mailbox on a daily basis
Responding directly to queries or passing them on to the appropriate person
Meeting and greeting visitors
Attending events
To be considered you will have:
A minimum of 6-12 months PR experience
A degree within the relevant field
Previous experience of working in a fast moving environment
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
Good interpersonal, negotiation and assertiveness skills in dealing with problem solving;
Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail essential;
An excellent knowledge of IT including Excel and Word
