Accountable Recruitment have the pleasure of working exclusively with one of our clients who are a leading organisation based in Merseyside. Our award winning client have a unique opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to join their high-performing and growing team.

In this role you will report directly into an impressive Group Head of Tax, Treasury, and Financial Compliance, where you will support in managing the day-to-day including all aspects of tax and treasury work. You will be confident to work across the various business divisions handling and supporting with all Tax related matters, advising on tax queries for the UK and overseas business units, covering direct, indirect, and employment taxes. This group consists of multiple entities with some key tax risk and opportunity areas for you to have an impact!

We are looking for candidates who have strong communication skills and are comfortable discussing tax related matters with non-tax stakeholders at a senior/board level. This role will be varied and offer you a blend of tax compliance and advisory work.

Key skills:

  • Ideally you will be Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA), candidates who are qualified by experience with strong tax experience will also be considered for this role.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • This role will develop over time and we are looking for candidates who are dynamic, experienced and able to support with both hands-on tax matters along with the more strategic tax projects alongside.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
