Hardworking Warehouse Operatives is needed to join our team at Soleil Group, a leading redistribution company that serves to provide innovative supply chain solutions based in Deeside on a full-time, short term contract basis.
We're seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and unwavering dependability to bring a positive attitude and give their all during every shift.
The successful applicant will be based in Deeside Industrial Estate at our Unit 34C site, reporting to the Team Leaders and, in their absence, Assistant Team Leaders. All training will be provided for the right candidate,
About the Role
The contracts and shifts available include a 30-hour contract with fixed days from Sunday to Tuesday or a 40-hour contract with fixed days from Wednesday to Saturday.
During the contract, there will be two working hour schedules: normal and peak periods. A peak schedule may be implemented for any promotional periods during the contract (with notice of change).
Normal: Rotating Shift times
- Mornings - 06:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Afternoons - 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Peak Period: Rotating Shift times
- Mornings - 06:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Afternoons - 4:30 pm - 03:00 am
Applicants must be 18+. You will be required to demonstrate your right to work in the UK, be free from hourly workweek restrictions, and be available for the full duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick orders as per allocated pick sheets
- Pack and pre-pack orders in line with client SOPs
- Work on bulk stations to complete heavier orders in larger quantities
- Sort orders into designated locations for shipments
- Contribute to continual improvement and Health & Safety within the warehouse environment
- Cleaning and general warehouse upkeep
- Use of pump trucks during picking and packing
Required Skills:
- Punctual and reliable individuals capable of good time management
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit due to heavy lifting requirements
- IT Literate
- Previous experience with RF scanners is desired
