Job Advertisement: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role: Reed are working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in Peterborough who are seeking a full time SEN teaching assistant to join their team from September. This full-time role involves supporting a pupil in Year 6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) throughout the school day. The hours for this position are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the pupil with the work set out by the class teacher.
- Monitor and manage the pupil's behaviour.
- Conduct 1:1 sessions for reading and writing support.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement an achievable plan for the pupil's educational success.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN or behavioural management support.
- Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Must have a UK address and the right to work in the UK.

Pay:
- £80-£90 per school day, depending on experience.
