School Caretaker
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Caretaker to support the daily operations of four schools in Colchester
Hourly rate: £16.00 (Umbrella)
Duration:3 months
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00, 4 days per week
Location: Essex
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensure school grounds are upkept and maintained to high standards
- Carry out repairs and minor plumbing works
- Conduct site walks and inspections of buildings and equipment
- Keep Smartlog system up to date and maintain records of issues and remedial works
- Undertake risk assessments
- Liaise with external contractors and staff for any disruptions
The successful candidate will have:
- Enhanced DBS
- Previous experience carrying out maintenance with a strong understanding of H&S policies
