THE GIG

The

Production Planner

will coordinate the purchasing of footwear and accessories with the Global Supply Chain base to ensure the best delivery and maximum efficiency in production. An exciting global role where you'll need to be adaptable, have strong attention to detail and comfortable with high volumes of data. As our

Production Planner

, you will be responsible for:

  • Working within the global supply planning team to coordinate all orders placed to the factories according to our purchasing calendar.
  • Leading, chairing and organising Global Supplier and Regional Teams calls
  • Planning purchase orders in accordance with the capacity plan, (by month and construction) to ensure maximum efficiency for customer, factory and minimum duty impact as per Global Regions.
  • Acting as a key partner & in a customer centric way to our global regions, effectively communicating with our Americas, APAC and EMEA regions. In addition, you will assist our regional & factory colleagues in trouble shooting their queries with your technical knowhow. Key stakeholders include our sourcing teams, country managers as well as our factory management teams.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:

  • Experience in a similar planning role, ideally within a global manufacturing discipline.
  • Confident user of the Microsoft Office packages, including advanced Excel skills – this is essential.
  • Knowledge of shipping terminology
  • Customer service experience & a customer centric mindset
  • Be a confident communicator, resilient and adaptable, and ready to embrace and support regular and ongoing change.
  • Great relationship management that delivers results through effective teamwork .
  • You'll be a proud custodian to our DM's culture, embodying what we stand for and encouraging others to do the same.
  • You'll help build a highly engaged team – ensuring a collaborative culture and providing guidance & support to other team members.
