Job Title: Warehouse Operative & Dispensing Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative. In this crucial role, you will support the pharmacy's day-to-day operations by managing the dispensing process, packing orders, and maintaining inventory, all while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing & Packaging:

Ensure an organised and efficient workflow, including the preparation of Royal Mail postage labels for outgoing packages.

Securely pack boxes once the pharmacist has added the medication, ensuring all items are included as required.

Accurately and promptly update the patient's Semble record with dispensed items.

Inventory Management:

Assist with the management and stock control of medications and other supplies, with a focus on cold-chain maintenance.

Compliance & Safety:

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company protocols.

Support the pharmacist in managing and resolving any dispensing-related queries.

Team Collaboration:

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and company policies.

Assist in the continuous improvement of dispensing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Customer Service:

While this is a non-customer-facing role, you will be expected to provide exceptional service by addressing patient enquiries and concerns with professionalism and care, as directed by the pharmacist.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for managing records and generating labels.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
