We are continuously seeking experienced Procurement Managers to join our clients team. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the purchasing activities of our organisation, ensuring that all procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective. If you have a knack for negotiation and a strategic mindset, we want to hear from you.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Head of Procurement.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market.
  • Talent in negotiations and networking.
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Experience in collecting and analysing data.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • CIPS or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
