Overview
Are you an ambitious and driven estate agent looking to take control of your earnings and work independently? My client are looking for an experienced sales professional to join their team as a Self-Employed Estate Agent covering Barking and the surrounding IG1 postcodes.
Even though this is an office based role, this is a fantastic opportunity to operate as your own boss, with full flexibility and the backing of a reputable brand, systems, and marketing support. With on-target earnings exceeding £100,000, your success is limited only by your effort and ambition.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through canvassing, networking, referrals, and online activity.
- Market Appraisals: Conduct accurate and professional property valuations.
- Sales Listings: Secure quality instructions and professionally market properties.
- Viewings & Negotiations: Arrange and attend viewings, negotiate offers, and progress sales through to completion.
- Client Management: Provide exceptional service to vendors and buyers, ensuring a smooth sales process.
- Local Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Barking/IG1 property market and current trends.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven background in estate agency sales - minimum 2 years preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the motivation to grow your own business and want to earn as much as possible
- Strong local knowledge of Barking and IG1 (or nearby East London areas).
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, self-disciplined, and able to manage your own diary.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
